Artists’ text:
The work “anthos” talks about the transience of the human form, it is a “memento mori”. In a world surrounded by the threat of war, poverty, the enslavement of its mental freedom through fear and exhaustion, I choose here to show the “other side of the coin”. So it is about the beauty that resides everywhere in nature, but also within us. By likening human life to the life of a flower, the purpose is to remind man to blossom before fulfilling his duty and returning to the earth from which he was born.
