generative 3D animation, The sculptures in the Foldings section, during their shaping process through three-dimensional design programs and processes, reveal their internal structure and the logic of the material of their construction. The dialectical relationship between form and material, and the use of new production technologies, constitutes the reason for existence, the raison d’être, of these sculptures.The initial thrust is two-dimensional. It is the design in its classic use: a single-node that seeks its expansion in space.
This design process is repeated two or three times and the successive drawings are projected and intertwined on the computer screen, multiplying the possibilities of their development in space, and consequently their three-dimensional transformation into a visible object.
The inner core of this new object begins to organically push outwards in search of its form.
